Train your mind with

Yeshe Norbu
About Us

We are a mind training centre in Stockholm

Think of us like your personal mental fitness centre

Exercising our minds can be approached in the same way we exercise our bodies. With the right methods and exercises we can get our brain in shape.

We all want more kindness, calm and joy in our lives. We all want to be able to handle difficult emotions. All it takes is the right attention and effort. Come to our mental fitness centre and let us show you how!

We have different courses, secular: in meditation, mindfulness, mind training and yoga. And others, based on buddhist philosophy and psychology.

Positive Impact and Sustainability
We want all our activities to be sustainable and ethical, maximizing benefit while minimizing harm to people and animals, and the environment.

We believe that the techniques of meditation and mind training need to be presented in a way that does not require any specific belief system or religious dogma.

Our center and our activities should be presented in a way that is modern, appealing, familiar, non-sectarian, and congruent with science.

At the same time we want to offer the full range of practices and teachings available within the Indian and Tibetan Mahayana Buddhist traditions.

What we want to contribute to is this ancient wisdom taking on a form that is suitable for people of modernity, and not simply adopt formats that evolved in very different times and cultures.

Who We Are

We are proud of our lineage and history and we are greatly inspired by The Dalai Lama who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989, we provide education for the heart and mind for everyone regardless of what they believe in or not.

Our main goal is to offer the people of Stockholm science based ways to better understand their own mind and body in order to bring about more inner peace, balance, health and meaning and by natural consequence, improved relationships within families and communities.

We are affiliated with the FPMT (Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition). If a center or project is affiliated with FPMT, it means that the center follows the spiritual direction of Lama Zopa Rinpoche. It means that the center uses FPMT’s educational programs and material, created in the unique lineage of Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche.

Something to think about

Compassion, the Dalai Lama explains, is a mental attitude based on the rationale that all human beings have an innate desire to be happy and to overcome suffering, coupled with a desire for others to achieve this as well. It’s associated with a sense of commitment, responsibility, and respect toward the other
