We want all our activities to be sustainable and ethical, maximizing benefit while minimizing harm to people and animals, and the environment.
We believe that the techniques of meditation and mind training need to be presented in a way that does not require any specific belief system or religious dogma.
Our center and our activities should be presented in a way that is modern, appealing, familiar, non-sectarian, and congruent with science.
At the same time we want to offer the full range of practices and teachings available within the Indian and Tibetan Mahayana Buddhist traditions.
What we want to contribute to is this ancient wisdom taking on a form that is suitable for people of modernity, and not simply adopt formats that evolved in very different times and cultures.
