Learn to deal with stress and avoid burnout – 8 weeks course

An event every week that begins at 5:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until April 12, 2018
Instead of always looking outside for happiness – we can cultivate the inner causes for true well-being.
What do we mean by well-being and mental balance? How do we cultivate well-being? We talk about this and practice with guided meditations.
This course is based on Cultivating Emotional Balance (CEB), created by Dr Alan Wallace & Dr Paul Ekman, two of the world’s leading expert of this field.
What you will learn:
1. What is “genuine happiness?
2. How stress is related to emotions
3. How to make your emotions work for you
4. Meditation techniques – which enable us to create freedom between stimulus and response. And improve our ability to recognize our emotions – early enough – so that we can react in a constructive way!
The course consists of 2 hours meetings per week, during which we will study the theory and practice: we will learn precise meditation techniques, and do group discussions. In between the meetings you will do the “homework”: reflective writing and guided meditations.

Zarina Osmonalieva is the leader of the course. She is a both certified Iyengar yoga -, and certified CEB / Cultivating Emotional Balance teacher; she has been studying with Dr Alan Wallace and Dr Ekman.
